One thing I miss about being back home in California is all the laid back, boho inspired, thin and loose clothing that I can wear during late winter/early spring months! It’s so easy to just throw on a quick black maxi dress with a leather jacket and sandals instead of having to layer on multiple shirts, a jacket, and scarf just to keep warm! When back home, my go-to boutique has to be Planet Blue. I stop by their Santa Monica/Venice location way too often and love picking up cute flimsy tees and dresses from their Blue Life line. Planet Blue tends to have very casual yet comfy pieces that you can play around with and dress up for a night out or just simply wear to the beach for the day. I love their store cause they not only have their own brand, but they also carry other favorites such as Indah, Stone Cold Fox, For Love and Lemons, and Vanessa Mooney just to name a few! After taking a look at their clothing make sure to check out their jewelry section that is filled with many long dangly necklaces and chunky rings that are all very boho inspired! PB does a great job at giving their customers updated with their latest styling techniques through their blog, so make sure to check it out for some tips on how to piece your outfit together!
This place is a must for anyone trying to shop in the Los Angeles area! Very California Cool…
Here are a couple of my faves I’ve been eyeing through some online shopping:
Pair this with some gladiator sandals and kimono for a boho look, shawl for a relaxed look, or leather jacket for an edgy look!
Going clubbing or for a night out with your girls? This simple dress comes in black, red, and this electric blue and is sure to strike with elegance, structure, and poise!
This top is a must have! I am addicted to mine that is in a light blue/purple tie dye pattern! The fit is very loose and the crossover bodice V neck line is all the more flattering! It also gives a laid back hippy feel with the bell sleeves!
Nothing describes Malibu beach attire better than this tunic! The stripes and the desert shaded color combo with lace up detail is very California Cool!
Nothing screams boho than these scarf pattern inspired pants! Other than being super comfy they are very easy to dress up! Planet Blue has a great selection of pants if you’re looking to wear something other than jeans all the time! I pair my slouch pants with a simple and loose white tank , a long necklace, and some chunky rings, maybe I throw a neutral colored hat on and BOOM outfit complete!
There were just way too many necklaces and accessories to choose from so click on this link to view all the goodies, Enjoy! 🙂
